This is a demonstration version of our FastCAD(tm) program for
IBM compatibles. It is written completely in assembler, features
user-programmable menus and macro language, multiple display windows,
zooming and other changes in the middle of commands, and, we hope,
an ease of learning unparalleled in the CAD world.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
This demo version of FastCAD requires:
1) An 8087 or 80287 math chip
2) A Microsoft or compatible mouse, with its associated
MOUSE.SYS or MOUSE.COM program installed
3) An EGA-compatible display adapter and monitor
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Copy all of the demo disk files to a directory or floppy disk, then
make that disk or directory current. If you place the demo disk
in drive A:, just type the command:
A:
To see a rolling demo, enter the command:
FCDEMO DEMO
You can use the program directly by entering:
FCDEMO drawing
where "drawing" is the name of a drawing file (type .FCD)
or you can start a new drawing by entering:
FCDEMO
You can get help by typing the command HELP and pressing RETURN,
or by clicking the LEFT mouse button with the arrow pointing to
the ? in the lower right corner of your screen. Then point to
a listed choice and press the LEFT button again for more information.
The RIGHT button will return you to the graphics display.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please play with the program - look around and try things.
The fully functional product includes drivers for a large variety of
plotters, digitizers, and displays. It has a retail price of $2295
Telephone support is available free (but you pay for the phone call)
for as long as you own our products. FastCAD is NOT copy-protected.
We care more for our paying customers than for those who do not pay.
We would like to encourage you to give copies of this demo disk to anyone
that might enjoy it.
